Brahmas

Known for being Large and in charge, Brahma's have been long sought after for their tremendous size and extremely calm personalities. Hens reach upwards of 10 lbs, while males reach 12 lbs. Recognized colours are Dark, Buff and Light.

Brahmas belong to the Asiatic Class.

Distinct physical characteristics: large frame and a pea comb. They should have yellow shank colour and their shanks should be heavily feathered. Outer and middle toes feathered as well.
